Stuff
My muscles are sore from all the cleaning and shopping that I did this weekend. I enjoy a quiet Monday after a busy weekend.
Ayden has is head on my shoulder, watching me type. Dyllen is crawling around on the floor. They've had their milk, and their diapers have been changed.
Have to take the car later to have the breaks checked.

Keeping Busy

Dyllen is keeping me busy, because he has just learned to pull himself up, to a standing position. But, he can't get back down. So, he cry's and I come running to the rescue. We do this over and over.
I hug him and say "what happened to that new born boy that I brought home from the hospital?" And, he laughs.
Took our Christmas pictures @ target on Friday. They turned out well. And we only spent 147$. We got 20 sheets, enough for my scrapbooks, and to give to family, Christmas cards, and a portrait for our wall. Thank goodness for coupons.

Why Are You So Happy?

I was sitting outside on my porch. Drinking my morning coffee. But, the mosquito's found me, and my citronella candle was not fending them off. So I came in. The house was quite. But, then i hear a delighted squeal coming from the back bedroom. It was Dyllen. He's awake. And happy with the prospects of a new day.

Labor Day Weekend 09
Yesterday, Andrew said that he felt like Thanksgiving Dinner. So, I made Thanksgiving dinner. But, there was no pumpkin a walmart. None. So I made german chocolate cake instead instead of pumpkin pie. It's his favorite. We ate out on the porch, cuz, after firing up the oven, it was too hot in the dinning room. And, we've already shut off the ac for the season.
Went to a barbeque and a pampered chef party. Bought the covered baker. Elaine said that you could cook meat in the microwave in it. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Taught the youth class, at church, on Saturday. Ate at Moes, with friends afterwards.
Had a date on Friday night.
Mandy was absent most of the weekend. She slept over at a friends house. Or was in her room. Or asleep. She's not interested in spending time with us.

Child Proof Locks
Last Sunday, Ayden escaped. Andrew thought that he was upstairs w/ me. I thought that he was downstairs w/him. But, he wasn't. He was across the street at the neighbor's house. Luckily, they brought him back to us.
He got out through the basement door, which leads to the garage. Krystopher had forgotten to close the garage door when he had taken the trash out. So, Ayden was off, to enjoy his new found freedom. When we got him back he was all smiles. No fear...this boy.
When I went to bed that night, my mind filled with all of the bad things that could have happened. My good friend Verna Hadley says "God takes care of babes and fools." Thank goodness for that. Because there are both living at this address.
