No Speeh Therapy...

Ayden is sneezing and coughing, so we rescheduled for Thurs afternoon.
I'm knitting a scarf. I'm modeling it after the red-black sheep sweater that princess Diana wore in the 80's. Intarsia is difficult.

Keeping Busy

Dyllen is keeping me busy, because he has just learned to pull himself up, to a standing position. But, he can't get back down. So, he cry's and I come running to the rescue. We do this over and over.
I hug him and say "what happened to that new born boy that I brought home from the hospital?" And, he laughs.
Took our Christmas pictures @ target on Friday. They turned out well. And we only spent 147$. We got 20 sheets, enough for my scrapbooks, and to give to family, Christmas cards, and a portrait for our wall. Thank goodness for coupons.

Child Proof Locks

Last Sunday, Ayden escaped. Andrew thought that he was upstairs w/ me. I thought that he was downstairs w/him. But, he wasn't. He was across the street at the neighbor's house. Luckily, they brought him back to us.
He got out through the basement door, which leads to the garage. Krystopher had forgotten to close the garage door when he had taken the trash out. So, Ayden was off, to enjoy his new found freedom. When we got him back he was all smiles. No fear...this boy.
When I went to bed that night, my mind filled with all of the bad things that could have happened. My good friend Verna Hadley says "God takes care of babes and fools." Thank goodness for that. Because there are both living at this address.

Mid-night Snack

Last night, Dyllen woke up at 1:30 am. It's been forever since he's been up in the middle of the night. He woke me out of a sound sleep, and I was very disappointed. I had to make him a bottle. Hate feeding bottles at night. I miss nursing.
Dyllen has congestion in his throat. He woke up cuz he was coughing. I waited to see if he'd go back to sleep, but, he didn't. He started screaming, and he woke Ayden.
So, we were all up.
I'm very tired.
And, I have a lot to do today, to get ready for my weekend w/ Andrew. I want to get my hair cut. And I need to clean up around here, so the babysitter isn't grossed out.
Ayden is being snugli at the moment. He's watcing me type. Dyllen has crawled under the coffee table. Speaking of coffee.. I need some.
Made meatloaf last night. I made it with 2 eggs. some ketchsup. and taco seasoning. They liked it. I also make a white cake which I drizzled with an icing that I'd made with a lime and about a 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.

No!

I'm constantly telling Ayden "No!" He's always getting into stuff. Right now, he's brushing his hair with a paint brush that he found. Go figure...
Ayden is coming down the stairs frontwards, now. He used to turn aound backwards and slide down, feet first, on his tummy. I should have gotten video of it, but, I didn't.
Dyllen has two teeth. He is manuvering all over the floor these days. He has a cough. We are going to the Dr. today. I'm pretty sur that it's just teeth.
Last night, when I put Dyllen to bed, he coo-ed and chattered to himself before he went to sleep. He sounded so sweet, I wanted to get him up and hold him and love on him. But, I didn't. I knew it might have ill effects on his bedtime routine.
Mandy is busy at school. She stays after each night this week. ROTC.
Krys has been practicing his trumpet.
Andrew and I are having our anniversery weekend this weekend. 17 years of marriage on Aug. 19. Can't wait! Not sure where we are going. It's Andrew's surprise.

Blood work

Had to go to the lab this am to have my blood drawn for a pregnancy test. I'm not pregnant, but, they need to make sure before they do the test, tomorrow, where they will inject me with dye, to make sure that my tubes are blocked from the essure that i had done in April. Permanent birth control. If they r blocked, I will be able to have sex w/o a condom, and not have to worry about getting pregnant. It's a new phase in my life. I'm looking forward to it.
Instead of buying pizza, I'm making it, from ingrediants already here in the house. I'm cutting back on my grocery store spending. Like I said I would.
I laid Dyllen on his mat on the floor. He likes to hang out there. I looked over at him to find Ayden standing on his chest. He didn't cry, infact, he was smiling. I put Ayden in his pen.
