It is turning out to be a Happy New Year.

The Holidays passed quickly. We spent Thanksgiving week in Arkansas, visiting the inlaws. And then a quiet Christmas, with just us, here at home.
The kids were very disappointed when I dragged them off to church before we opened presents.
We were pleasently surprised when it began to snow. Georgia has not had a White Christmas in more than a hundred years.
Now, we are well into the New Year, and we are enjoying our 2011.
Dyllen happily celebrated his second birthday last month. We had friends over, and Dyl was able to blow out his candles and eat his cake on his own.
We had Chocolates for Valentine's Day, this week. And, Andrew and I were able to get out for a movie.
The boys have been sick this week. Dyllen is cutting a big tooth, and seems to be in a lot of pain. I was awake with him throughout the night. Today we are both tired and cranky.
We have all been to the dentist. I'm the only one with cavities. And Andrew had a root canal.
Today, like many days, has been a pajama day. We haven't had to leave the house, so why not remain in our comfortable jammies?
Enjoyed the movie "The Duchess" this afternoon. Now the boys are snuggling next to me, watching their favorite, Kipper.
Must go, to put the laundry in the dryer and start dinner.

Keeping Busy

Dyllen is keeping me busy, because he has just learned to pull himself up, to a standing position. But, he can't get back down. So, he cry's and I come running to the rescue. We do this over and over.
I hug him and say "what happened to that new born boy that I brought home from the hospital?" And, he laughs.
Took our Christmas pictures @ target on Friday. They turned out well. And we only spent 147$. We got 20 sheets, enough for my scrapbooks, and to give to family, Christmas cards, and a portrait for our wall. Thank goodness for coupons.

Why Are You So Happy?

I was sitting outside on my porch. Drinking my morning coffee. But, the mosquito's found me, and my citronella candle was not fending them off. So I came in. The house was quite. But, then i hear a delighted squeal coming from the back bedroom. It was Dyllen. He's awake. And happy with the prospects of a new day.

Mid-night Snack

Last night, Dyllen woke up at 1:30 am. It's been forever since he's been up in the middle of the night. He woke me out of a sound sleep, and I was very disappointed. I had to make him a bottle. Hate feeding bottles at night. I miss nursing.
Dyllen has congestion in his throat. He woke up cuz he was coughing. I waited to see if he'd go back to sleep, but, he didn't. He started screaming, and he woke Ayden.
So, we were all up.
I'm very tired.
And, I have a lot to do today, to get ready for my weekend w/ Andrew. I want to get my hair cut. And I need to clean up around here, so the babysitter isn't grossed out.
Ayden is being snugli at the moment. He's watcing me type. Dyllen has crawled under the coffee table. Speaking of coffee.. I need some.
Made meatloaf last night. I made it with 2 eggs. some ketchsup. and taco seasoning. They liked it. I also make a white cake which I drizzled with an icing that I'd made with a lime and about a 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.

No!

I'm constantly telling Ayden "No!" He's always getting into stuff. Right now, he's brushing his hair with a paint brush that he found. Go figure...
Ayden is coming down the stairs frontwards, now. He used to turn aound backwards and slide down, feet first, on his tummy. I should have gotten video of it, but, I didn't.
Dyllen has two teeth. He is manuvering all over the floor these days. He has a cough. We are going to the Dr. today. I'm pretty sur that it's just teeth.
Last night, when I put Dyllen to bed, he coo-ed and chattered to himself before he went to sleep. He sounded so sweet, I wanted to get him up and hold him and love on him. But, I didn't. I knew it might have ill effects on his bedtime routine.
Mandy is busy at school. She stays after each night this week. ROTC.
Krys has been practicing his trumpet.
Andrew and I are having our anniversery weekend this weekend. 17 years of marriage on Aug. 19. Can't wait! Not sure where we are going. It's Andrew's surprise.

School Today

The last bus just left, Krys was on it. The girls headed out earlier. The baby boys aren't awake yet. I'm sitting on my porch, again, enjoying a few minutes of solitude.
My prayer, today, is that they find what they need, that they Lord put good people in thier paths, and that they ARE the good people that other parents are praying for in the paths of thier own children.
Dyllen's 6th month photo's today.
Bought formula last night. He goes through it quickly.

MS

Andrew woke me this morning, saying "This is bad." He said something about not being able to keep his balance. At first, I thought he was talking about the bank account. He wasn't. I wanted him to lay back down, but, he didn't. He wobbled off to work.
I'm waiting for his neurologist to answer his phone so that I can make an appointment.
It's been several years since he's had an episode.
He called earlier and asked about Harry Potter books. Said one of his co-workers had Harry Potter books he was selling. I told him we already have all of HP. So, he must not be doing too bad. If it were a bad episode, hp would be the least of his concerns.
Dyllen was up on his hands and knees yesterday. He has a tooth poking through on the bottom.
Eye appointments today, for Krys an Mandy.

Blood work

Had to go to the lab this am to have my blood drawn for a pregnancy test. I'm not pregnant, but, they need to make sure before they do the test, tomorrow, where they will inject me with dye, to make sure that my tubes are blocked from the essure that i had done in April. Permanent birth control. If they r blocked, I will be able to have sex w/o a condom, and not have to worry about getting pregnant. It's a new phase in my life. I'm looking forward to it.
Instead of buying pizza, I'm making it, from ingrediants already here in the house. I'm cutting back on my grocery store spending. Like I said I would.
I laid Dyllen on his mat on the floor. He likes to hang out there. I looked over at him to find Ayden standing on his chest. He didn't cry, infact, he was smiling. I put Ayden in his pen.

Dyllen's 1/2 Birthday

The time has gone by so quickly. I can't believe it's been 6 months since I gave birth to him. I thought I'd be pregnant forever. I was so miserable toward the end. And now, here it is, a distant memory.
I tried to make a checker board cake. It didn't turn out too well. Made lasagne for dinner. I used to make lasagne all of the time. But, the family got tired of it. So, it's been awhile. It was good.
Krys is sleeping next door in the nieghbor boys tree house. Hope that they stay outta trouble.
Mandy is still at blt camp. She'll be back on Thursday. Hope that she's enjoying herself.
Kym is the only one here, besides the babies.
Last month, Andrew reported, I spent $1200 on the amex. He spent $500. That's just for groceries, necessities (diapers, shampoo, tide...ect...) and gas. I really need to cut back. I buy steak too often.
